Compact and powerful, the A5x is built for short to mid-range pole and tower point-to-multipoint (PTMP) applications. In situations where the power and range of the 4×4 A5c access point isn’t needed, the connectorized, 2×2 A5x is the perfect solution.
PTMP at a Fraction of the Cost
The A5x is an affordable access point that does not compromise on quality and performance. It is the perfect solution for both new network setups and expanding existing coverage, all at a fraction of the cost of fiber. Its low cost and easy deployment ensures a faster return on investment. 
Fiber-Fast Speeds
Breaking the barriers to entry, the A5x is a connectorized, 2×2 access point that delivers fiber-like speeds of up to 700 Mbps (IP).
Get Around the Noise
The wide frequency of the A5x, 4.9–6.4* GHz with the RoW product, allows affordable access to more low-noise spectrum for increased speeds and reliability—especially paired with SRS (GPS sync) for channel reuse. *The A5x supports 5150–5850 MHz in the U.S. (FCC), Europe (ETSI), and Canada (CA). For rest of world (ROW), the A5x supports 4900–6400 MHz.
Going the Distance
The Mimosa Design Tool streamlines planning and validating PTP and PTMP deployments with a few clicks on a map. This intuitive tool simplifies connectivity evaluation by using visual aids like terrain elevation to estimate performance and reliability, automatically accounting for factors such as weather and tree clutter. 
Recommended High-Performance Antenna
While almost any 2×2 3rd party antenna will work with the A5x, the Mimosa N5-45×2 comes most recommended. Get all the ground coverage of a sector, along with the sidelobe rejection of a horn.
